Had a 3-month T-Bill mature today so I used the funds to sell 3 cash-secured put options on stocks I wouldn’t mind owning should they get put to me.

Micron Technology, Inc. (MU)

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD)

Sell to Open 1 Contract AMD Sep 20 2024 130 Put Limit at $5.65, Filled at $5.65
This represents a 27.83% annualized yield.

NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)

SFL Corporation Ltd. (SFL)

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD)

Another stock I would not mind owning in my portfolio, so I sold a Sept. 140 cash-secured put option @$6.55, which equates to 18.17% annualized yield.

Credit Suisse X-Links Crude Oil Shares Covered Call ETN (USOI)

Added 14 shares @$74.52 to my portfolio. This energy play on oil pays a distribution of 19.6% monthly.

Took profits today (bought back) on a short UBER put option.

Divided the cash evenly between two new holdings that I’ve been wanting:

Gabelli Global Utility & Income (GLU), a global, closed-end, utility fund

  • currently selling at a -7.36% discount
  • 8.58% yield, pays monthly, very steady
  • uses reasonable leverage, 29.8%
  • reasonable expenses, 1.45%
  • uses no return on capital (ROC)

New Lake Capital Partners (NLCP), a REIT that specializes in cannabis properties

  • currently the top-rated stock on Seeking Alpha, all green ratings
  • 8.63% yield

Sold an in-the-money put option today on a stock I wouldn’t mind owning should it get “put” to me:

Royalty Pharma (RPRX) was recommended by one of the dividend newsletters I subscribe to. Rated “3 Green” by Seeking Alpha and currently nearing its 52-week low. Just raised its dividend in March. RPRX dividend yield 3.13%.

Sold 1 June 27.50 put @ $1.30 ($130), resulting in a 59.50% annualized yield

Today I sold three cash-secured puts on stocks I wouldn’t mind owning should they get “put” to me.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Aug 135 put @ $3.25 (received $325), annualized yield 10.34%

Uber (UBER) Aug 55 put @ $1.19 (received $119), annualized yield 9.29%

Bank OZK (OZK) Aug 42.5 put @ 1.10 (received $110), annualized yield 11.11%

I also added some August T-Bills yielding 5.39%
