Today’s Trades: HASI, GLU, UBER, NLCP

Today’s Trades: GLU, NLCP, FBTC

Had some available cash, so I added to three positions today:

Today’s Trades: AAPL, RQI

My Apple (AAPL) April 175 short put is in the money and expires in a few days, so I rolled it out and down to a May 170 put to give AAPL more time. This resulted in a net debit to me of about $13. The new May put option gives me a 32% annualized yield. I only sell cash-secured put options on stocks I would want to own.

I added to my position in Cohen & Steers Quality Income Realty Fund (RQI). Reasons I’ve had this closed-end fund for quite awhile now:

  • Currently selling at a -5.17% discount
  • Pays me 8.87% monthly
  • Uses no return on capital (ROC)
  • Distribution very steady

Today’s Trades: ASGI, JEPQ

Bought Aberdeen Global Infrastructure Income Fund (ASGI)

  • at a 15% discount to NAV
  • pays 8.38% monthly
  • uses no leverage
  • relatively low expenses for a CEF, 1.79%
  • steady dividends
  • uses no return of capital (ROC)

Added a small amount of

JPMorgan Nasdaq Equity Premium Income ETF(JEPQ)

  • pays 11.47% monthly
  • all green ratings from Seeking Alpha

Today’s Trades: 3 month T-Bill, BDJ

Had a CD expire, but this time I chose to reinvest into a 3-month Treasury Bill paying 5.178%.

Added a small amount to BDJ, a closed-end fund that pays 8.53% monthly. Previously recommended by Power Hedge, CEF Lab, very low leverage and expenses. Uses no Return of Capital. Steady dividend; paid an extra dividend in Dec 2022.

Today’s Trades: SPYI, ADC, AGD

Bought 62 SPYI @ 48.43. Pays monthly. 10.91%. One green buy on Seeking Alpha.

Added a small amount to:

AGD: added small amount, CEF that pays monthly. 8.51%. Low leverage and expenses, uses no Return of Capital.

ADC: two green, one yellow on Seeking Alpha. Pays 4.71%. Ex-div coming up in 9 days. Increased dividend 10/2021, 4/2022, 11/2022, 5/2023. Dividend raiser.

Sold my Series I bonds earning less than 4%. Will apply all to pay extra principal on my new RV loan (7.24%).
