My retiree high-yield dividend income investing blog
My buy-to-close orders were filled on two of my short put option positions.
OZK Nov $37.50 put closed for 55% profit.
GAP Oct $19 put closed for 87% profit.
I used the freed up cash to buy:
SGOV iShares® 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF
I want to have some cash or cash-equivalents available around election time.
Closed my position in Oaktree Specialty Lending Corporation (OCSL) for a small loss. This business development company, BDC, has underperformed others in my portfolio: Ares Capital (ARCC), Main Street Capital (MAIN), Gladstone Investment (GAIN) and Hercules Capital (HTGC).
I used the proceeds to purchase a new holding:
TORM (TRMD)
Also, I had a short term T-bill mature today, so I used those funds to purchase a new holding for my cash reserves:
BlackRock Ultra Short-Term Bond ETF (ICSH)
Sharing my entire portfolio, comments appreciated! Ranked by dividend yield; includes my stock/eft shortlist and CEF shortlist. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d
I have mostly high yield stocks, ETFs, CEFs, and T-Bills.
Some growth stocks like TSLA, AAPL.
Not included on the spreadsheet are my covered call and cash-secured put options.
Comments appreciated! How many of these do you have?
Today I sold three cash-secured puts on stocks I wouldn’t mind owning should they get “put” to me.

Uber (UBER) Aug 55 put @ $1.19 (received $119), annualized yield 9.29%
Bank OZK (OZK) Aug 42.5 put @ 1.10 (received $110), annualized yield 11.11%
I also added some August T-Bills yielding 5.39%

Had some T-Bills mature, so I reinvested:
30 ($30,000) July T-Bills yielding 5.37%
27 ($27,000) August T-Bills yielding 5.38%
Also added 100 shares of Runway Growth Finance Corp (RWAY) at $12.3752. On sale today, down 6.49%. Dividend 12.08%. Two green ratings on Seeking Alpha. Also recommended by More Ideas Than Money, Monthly Dividend Multiplier.
Today I had some US treasury bills mature so I bought 33 more ($33,000). Expires in July and I will earn 5.4% yield. Safe and guaranteed.
I also sold put options on stocks I wouldn’t mind owning in my dividend portfolio:
